Calling all Struckmeyers…

Posted by eastsidehistorymadison on September 10, 2009

Mentioned in An East Side Album: Struckmeyer’s grocery store.  Mentioned in a letter that came my way, written by a 94-year-old in Lodi – she graduated from East High (about 1933?), her maiden name is Struckmeyer,  and her family ran a grocery store called “Hope’s” in the “rural countryside” – maybe DeForest?

Do you have knowledge of any Eastside Struckmeyers related to the grocery business? If so, please contact me!

Just visiting my mom in Madison. We think that is the Hope Store just outside southeast side of Madison. Mom has an address in California and will bring it to next Saturday presentation
